So well, I only have a few days since I am on resof (I take it with ribavirin). I have hepatitis c geno type 2 and to be honest I think that there would be nothing that would cure it. not so long ago I have started to use resof for it – but I think that it won’t help. seriously. I think so because I’ve already had hepatitis c treatments and all of them failed. I have had 3 treatments for my hepatitis c type 2 and since none of them worked it is too much for me to still remain positive and think that it will work. I have been diagnosed with hepatitis somewhere in 1997 and I’ve had my first treatment in 1998. My first treatment was with interferon alone in 1998. Then later I have had interferon with peginterferon and ribavirin – again failure and the last treatment has been with the same drugs (interferon, peginterferon and ribavirin) but with an increased dosage of each. The first time it has been a complete disaster. My virus load barely went lower. The second time it nearly hit 0 (the virus load) but it has not done it. only the 3rd time was when my virus load was 0, however it then returned back. So in the end every single time I’ve taken it – the virus was either there, either disappeared but returned right back. Each time the virus gone lower it was increasing back. Starting from 3 m then to 9 m and so on to 15 m and until the end it slowly returned back to 22 m (or I think that it has been even bigger than that). this makes me understand that the chances I have for getting a success treatment are getting lower and lower and since it is now my 4th treatment I think that it is my last chance – if this drug won’t help me (but I have a feeling that it won’t) – I would die with hepatitis c. don’t understand me wrong, I really hope very much that this time around everything is going to be different from the first 3 treatments, but… I’ve had damn too many failures so I doubt that anything would change this time. I have to mention that I have hepatitis c for a long time. since I was diagnosed with it in 1997 then I guess I’ve got it somewhere in 80’s.. I guess so. Anyway. initially I thought that hepatitis c is nothing that hard to get rid of, I thought that a bit of medicine would do the trick, now I realized that it is by far not so easy. And yeah, I almost forgot…. Talking about the bad side effects those drugs had.. they are kind of some old friends… I’ve had so many treatments that they have become my old friends, those friends that you are extremely happy when you see that they are finally going away… but you know? you already got used with their presence around. That’s totally me. I hope that I would have no side effects and only good effects, but I know that this is just a dream, especially for me. I am now prepared that it is all going to start and I would have to deal with all of it again. what I can say is that I take it for a few days and the side effects have not yet started. It is still very good because the rest 3 treatments the side effects started nearly on an instant so I still can call it success. I’m going to try to do my best and hang in there.
I have lived with hepatitis c for a lot of years in the past. I have had hepatitis c genotype 1. The funny thing is that I don’t even know for how many years I have had it and where I have contacted it. anyway, then later I have found out about it when a doctor has done a blood test and seen it. what makes me so happy about it all is that I do not have it anymore. I got rid of the hepatitis c and since I’m now writing a review about Resof then as much as you can understand – Resof did it (along with Olysio too). Having this said, since this combination of the drugs helped me to get rid of the hep c then I recommend it to everyone as a treatment for your hepatitis c. to make you understand what I have gone through I would write a bit of story about me. I’m having diabetes and I have been visiting my doc quite regular. So well, I have visited this time my doctor for a normal kidney test (nothing unusual) but this time really has happened something unusual as she said that she noticed something no good in my tests. She has noticed that my liver and my spleen are enlarged so she has had to search forward. After some tests etc. etc. we have found out that I am having hepatitis c. finally, after so many years. she told me that due to the fact that I have had hepatitis c for so many years and we found it by accident then god knows what else we might find so I have attended an large of tests. When the results came I’ve been said that I am all fine except for a biopsy that have stated that I was also having compensated cirrhosis. My doctor told me that this is only the very beginning stage of the cirrhosis and that’s very good that we have discovered it then because it could evolve to something worse and harder to cure. So well, approximately 18 months or so ago I have started the treatment with sofosbuvir (Resof, since it has been not so expensive as other that I have found) plus Olysio. To be honest this is the first time in my life that I have ever had any treatment plans and I am very glad to report that it went very successful and this is why I can say that this is an amazing drug that’s really worth taking in consideration when you want to get rid of hepatitis c. I have started my treatment and in only 4 weeks being into it I have done a blood test and the docs told me that my virus load is not detected which means that I was no longer having hepatitis c (after only 4 weeks). My doctor has also told me that the cirrhosis is no more a problem for me. the best part of it all is that the virus does not returned back. I’ve read online that there are lots of people complaining that the virus have returned back after they have finished with their treatment, however mine haven’t. a few days ago I have asked for getting a test for hepatitis c and it is still undetectable (it has been now 15 months later after I have completed my treatment plan). So, from my experience I can say that this is that kind of treatment that is wiping out the virus completely. I definitely recommend it to everybody. If you’re looking for curing hepatitis c then you should consider taking Resof with Olysio as this combo would do the job and the virus won’t return (at least it did not returned for me). and yeah. regarding the side effects. I do not remember anything about it. as much as I know there have been no side effects at all. and even if there have been some of them then I really cannot remember them which means that they must have been too mild for remembering them (but I think that there were none). Resof is a really good drug that you should consider taking, for sure.
