I also have Hep C virus and as a lot of people (from what I have seen online) I am also using Sovaldi for it. I do agree with many people that the price is a very big problem for this drug, because it is really very expensive, but I really wanted to get the best thing as I really wanted to get rid of hepatitis c. the problem is that so far I am not really able to rate this medicine yet, however I still thought that it would be nice to write a review about it and to let other people know how this drug is working so far. I have only used this drug for 2 weeks and few more days (16 days in total since I started to take it) and everything that I have to report so far is that I am just feeling an inexplicable feeling of tiredness and exhausted all the time, even when I am not doing anything all day long. That’s strange because I had such feelings only when having a cold or something because I also feel weak and I feel a generalized body sickness, exactly as if I have a cold. But that’s easily manageable. I mean, I just focus on the tasks that I have to do and I am fine. these are not that kind of side effects that would make me want to stop the treatment. besides, I really hope very much that this drug is going to work well and I would get cured. I also have to say that I have cirrhosis as well and I also have to say that my hepatitis c is genotype 4 (reading online I’ve seen that there are very few people who have gen type 4) and as much as I could understand gen type 4 of hepatitis c is the final one and since it is the final one I think that it is the worst one (isn’t it) so, I think that it all the money and all the side effects would be very well worth it in case Sovaldi is going to do the job and it is going to cure my hepatitis c genotype 4. Sure thing is that I won’t stop using the drug and it does not matter how many side effects I would have because I really need to get cured of this terrible virus. The side effects are pretty annoying especially because my wife is always complaining lately on the fact that all I do since I’m on the treatment is just to lay watching tv and sleeping. I do know that this is true and I’m not trying to say that I do something else than that, however we both know that this is because of the drug. she says that this is not anything like me because I never used to lay around and watch tv so much and sleep so much. I just think about it as a recreational time when my body needs time since it is fighting with this virus. I know that it is all because of the drug that I never felt like that before, I started to be like this soon after starting to take the drug, I started to be exhausted all day long, continuously. But it is not like me because I am a 54 years old business man and I always used to have a very active lifestyle (well.. except for the last 2 weeks). I always used to get up at 6 AM and I have been running until 9 PM. I mean, I was not literally running all this time, but I have been doing my job, my business, even though I was running too, from 6.30 AM to 7.30 AM nearly daily. But since I’m on the drug I’m not running anymore, I can’t do what I was doing in the past. Lately, I am getting out of the house (but to be honest, I am getting out of the bed) only if there is a very serious need for that, otherwise I really have no wish to do so. But, in the end, in such scenario when the drug is going to cure the virus then there’s absolutely nothing that I would complain about or I would regret. I need to take it for about half a year or even up to 8 months, at least this is what my doctor told me that I would need to do. I am ready to do so. I know that it all just started and there are many months to wait, however they would be worth it. plus, I hope that with time my body would get used to the drug and this tiredness would disappear. Besides, regarding the side effects, in the past I have been on interferon and the side effects were much worse than they are now so I’m happy with what I get. Plus, once again as I have already said: the side effects now are totally manageably and they would be 100% worth it if the drug would do the job that it needs to do. In my opinion, as other people said, the worst part of Sovaldi is the price that it has which is really big. However, I have read those lots of people’s reviews online and it is very comforting seeing that most of them found this drug helpful and useful wiping out the hepatitis c so I really hope a lot that it would do the same for me too. there’s only this thing that scares me very much as I have said, the hepatitis c I have is the stage 4 which is the final stage and which I can assume is the worst one and as we all know it (I guess) the final stage of a medical condition it is the hardest to cure. I guess this is why my doctor put me on it for half a year or even 8 months since it has the lowest success rate. I’m just saying this because I am truly afraid that those a lot of other people who has said that they found this medicine helpful for hepatitis C might have found it so helpful for the stages 1 2 and 3 and it might not be like that for me. so far I’m not sure, but we just need to wait and see. I just think that since there are changes in the way I feel, the virus load is lowering… I hope so.
I take Sovaldi, I am currently taking it and I still have to take it for some weeks more. I have been put on a treatment of Sovaldi, Interferon and Ribavirin by my doctor and I am on this treatment for approximately 6 weeks which means that I still have 6 more weeks until I would finish my course (my doctor said that I have to be on the treatment for 12 weeks). Although only half of the treatment (even a bit less than half) have passed, a few days ago I’ve had a check and it has said that my VL is already undetectable. I have to say that this is my first treatment that I have for hep c and I am really glad to see that it is so successful – I was afraid that it won’t go like it was planned and I would have to take some more drugs. However, it seems that it goes very well and I am very happy that I get these results. my doctor has warned me that I should not stop with the treatment even if the VL is already zero. He said that it is very important to finish it because the hep c might come back, however if I would finish my treatment then the chances that it will do so are very and very small. Hope he’s right because I will finish my course even though I do have side effects. I mean, I would rather stop taking it since my VL is 0 and I continue having side effects from the drug, but so the hep c won’t return I would continue. The side effects are that I am completely wiped out. I’m very tired, inexplicable tiredness and exhaustion to such a level that I barely can work normally. Even so I still think that it is worth to take the drug because the reward after I finish the course is going to be really worth it all. that is why, as long as I am cured from the hep c there’s nothing I need to complain about. I’m very and very happy that this drug is doing the job that it is supposed in curing the hepatitis and this is why I am happy and I say that it is a drug that’s worth it. especially since the side effects is a normal occurrence. I was expecting them. it is obvious that I would have some side effects since the body is fighting off with the virus, that’s obvious that I would start feeling strange… maybe even worse than in the past. I take a very potent drug, how it is possible that I won’t feel anything while I use it? it is not, obviously I would. And I assume everybody who is taking such kind of drugs would feel something like this. so I am not focusing on the side effects because the drug is curing the virus and this is what we should be focused on. having all of that said – I am here in order to recommend this drug to everybody who wants to get rid of the virus hepatitis c. this drug is doing it. everything I told you up there is from personal experience and I personally am happy with the experience I have with it. I see that I am cured. this is the most important. besides, when I was searching online more information about it I have seen that most of the people who are using these drugs are finding them beneficial. There are only few people who said that these drugs have no cured their hepatitis c. but in the end, numbers talk – about 90% find them helpful.
Not so long ago I have finished my course with Sovaldi. I took it with Natdac. I am not sure if I need to make the same review because I’ve already made a review for Natdac but there’s nothing else I can say about Sovaldi as I’m not sure which one of them is better and so on. I look at Natdac and Sovaldi as one single drug, that is why if you’re interested how this combination has worked for me then better search for Natdac’s reviews and you’ll find mine there. I’m just gonna leave a few words of reference here: side effects are all only mental, no physical side effects at all which I find it strange. Mental side effects are not anything bad or scary but mostly annoying. In general, side effects are nothing to be scared. I am currently waiting for the results to appear that would tell me if I got freed of the virus. If I’m not having the virus anymore then the drug is surely worth taking it and the side effects are nothing. Had (or maybe still have – not sure) hepatitis C genotype 3 A. for more look for Natdac’s reviews.
Sovaldi is a good drug indeed, but it is very expensive. It is extremely expensive, so expensive that my insurance company refused to cover it. I have been one month on it after I have found out that I have hepatitis c and it worked fine. after one month I have been told by my insurance company that they are not paying for it anymore but I have got my blood test confirmed that I am virus free. However my doctor told me that I need to continue with the treatment because I took the ingredient sofosbuvir for too little time so I had to search for another drug. I searched for the generic version of Sovaldi and I have seen Hepcinat. I recommend Hepcinat instead of Sovaldi because to me (I’ve been a month on Sovaldi and a month on Hepcinat) they are the same drug except for their price: Sovaldi is very expensive. The rest they are the same. I have the same effects and the same side effects on both. side effects: headaches, nauseous, pains in my back. So I recommend sovaldi because it is a good drug, but instead of it I would go for Hepcinat (I now take Hepcinat). However, if you’re some kind of rich guy who does not care about the price then you can go for Sovaldi and that’s it, for the rest I recommend Hepcinat.
Sovaldi is a very good drug. I’ve been on an regimen of Sovaldi with Daclahep for 6 months in 2014-2015 and I am still virus free. Daclahep and Solvadi are a great combination that would do an amazing job with hepatitis c. in fact, I see here many reviews about Sovaldi and all positive… what else I can add here? it is indeed a very helpful drug for hepatitis c. for my full review about the sovaldi and daclahep combination then check the daclahep page. I’ve already wrote it and I don’t want to copy/paste it here. if you’re interested for more prove that Solvadi (and Daclahep) works then check that page. So far – very good drug.
the sovaldi is doing a great job with my hepatitis c geno type 3 a. my doctor put me on it along with daclahep. So I am currently taking them both. I take one pill of daclahep per day 60 mg and one pill per day of sovaldi 400 mg. I’ve taken 29 pills of each because it is now the 29th day of my regimen I am very happy to report that I don’t have hepatitis c anymore. after I have had a blood work done the results came back showing that I have no virus and this is amazing. I won’t stop taking Sovaldi with daclahep because I’ve got to finish my 12 weeks regimen because this way the virus won’t come back. But so far, this is what matters, the virus is not there anymore. regarding the side effects. there have been some. In fact, there still are some, but I managed to deal with most of them. I am having some headaches. but only occasionally. They are not too frequent and they are not daily. I’ve been having headaches while not being on any drugs but I have noticed that now they are a bit more frequent than in the past so I assume that it is because of the drug. but that’s nothing bad about it. besides the headaches, I am having itchy skin. It is not that bad either but it is there. and there’s also one final side effect and I can say that it has been the worst one. these pills were making me tired and weak. However I managed to make this side effect to be beneficial to me. the way I have done it was: I was taking the drug in the morning, the first thing in the morning was to take the pills. then, after I have noticed that I am weak and tired through the day, I changed the time taking in the evening and I’ve found it beneficial because it aids my sleep and makes me fall asleep easier and faster. I’ve also managed to deal with the itching part. I can use Benadryl and it does the job. I take 2 of them in the morning and 2 of them in the night and everything’s fine. the itchiness goes away once and forever. So, there’s only one side effect that’s here, the headaches but that’s not that bad as I’ve already said. I think that it is worth to give a try to this drug. I’m sure about that. I’ve also wrote a review about the daclahep today which is pretty much the same because I am not sure which of these drugs are making me have the side effects, which got me rid of the hepatitis and so on. I just take both of them and that’s why they are pretty much like only one drug to me.
Sovaldi rocks. My doctor put me some years ago on another treatment that failed to cure my hepatitis c. in fact, it did cured it – but as soon as I have stopped to take the drugs because I finished my course, the virus returned. That’s why I have been put later on Sovaldi with Daclahep. It has been a long time ago. it worked. My virus load is still 0 until now. went for a check up not so long ago and my virus is still undetected months later. this treatment gave me no side effects at all but I think this is not so important, the most important part is that it did the job (fully) with curing my hepatitis c (genotype 1) and liver cirrhosis that I used to have in the past. So I definitely recommend Sovaldi (and Daclahep) if you have hepatitis c and you want to get rid of it.
Thanks to Sovaldi (taken with Olysio) I am not having any more hepatitis c virus (genotype 1). So I recommend it to all. this is an usual treatment for people with hepatitis (at least according to my doc) that works for nearly everyone so I think that you need to try it too if you’re a hepatitis c carrier and looking into wiping it out. the course of Sovaldi with Olysio is only 12 weeks and it is well worth it. the price for Sovaldi is a big painful, but I think that it is definitely worth it because since you get cured of hepatitis c then no money should be a value. This combo got me rid of hepatitis c during my treatment and I am still free of the virus (it is now 2 weeks after I have finished the 12 weeks course). regarding the side effects. I have got only some red rashes spots on my body, I have been tired, found it hard to fall asleep (insomnia), my immune system went low and I have got many colds and I have had sinus related issues. However, even so, all of them are well worth it because it cures the hepatitis c. all in all I say that this is a worth drug and I can recommend it (being an ex – user of it). besides, regarding the side effects – I have to mention that during my treatment I have been having lots of stress so I think this have played a role too. and yeah, the side effects subsided as soon as I went off the drug. I have written an review about Olysio drug too which is as much as important (I guess) as Sovaldi. Good luck everybody looking for treating hepatitis c.
Hi everyone. I have already made a review about Olysio but I decided to make one about this one since I am given the combination of the both drugs. I am not sure which one of them is playing the “biggest role” but I am pretty sure that since my doctor gave me both of them then they are both very important. so, to make the long story short (for those interesting, look into Olysio reviews, as I have already said) – this combination of drugs really help. Olysio and Sovaldi got me rid of the virus. I am currently still taking them, I am in the 9th week of treatment but my virus load is already 0. Gotta mention once again that in the past I’ve been on combo of Interferon and Ribavirin but it has not made the job. I’ve been on that combo for 48 weeks and it didn’t helped to cure the virus. So, people who are searching for Interferon and Ribavirin – I would tend to change the combo to the one that I am using now. however, it is true that people are different so I’m not trying to dispute your doc’s decisions. About the side effects I have from Sovaldi (with Olysio) is just some headaches and a bit of tiredness but both of these side effects are nothing to worry about as they are totally bearable. What’s the most important thing is that these drugs really works that’s why – go and try to get them as your treatment plan. Of course I can’t be sure if it’s going to work exclusively for everyone like it worked for me, but at least I hope so. Good luck everyone.
Hi everyone, I just wanted to let you know how this drug works for me even though I have not finished my treatment course with it. I need to say that because of this (that I have not finished my treatment course) I cannot say for sure how this drugs works due to the fact that I need to wait for a couple of more months and only after that I would be able to tell something. Anyway, what’s the most important thing about the drug is to cure the Hepatitis C and this is the question. I mean, what’s most important is whether it completely gets your rid of the Hep C. to be honest with you, I do know that usually should write reviews about the drug’s effectiveness, side effects and so on but I personally do not care if the drug is having side effects or no, I don’t care whether I need to take it for a month or for an year, I don’t care anything about this. everything I care about is, as I said – it cures the Hepatitis C or no? I mean, if it does it once and forever! This is the reason why so far I am not able to tell you whether this drug is good or bad. I can’t say anything about its effectiveness although I’ve already graduated it. for me this drug can have all the side effects and even more but if it does the job with Hep C then it automatically is an amazing drug that I can recommend to all but whether it has side effects or not but it does not cure the Hep C then it is an drug that’s not worth taking. That’s what I think…. so far I’m in my 5th week of treatment with this Sovaldi (and I am also taking it with Ribavirin). I have to mention that I have visited the docs at the VA hospital and after they have ran a few tests on me a few days ago they told me that my viral load is undetectable that is why, from the first sight I could say that it is a good drug, but it is not like that. until I could say it I need to wait a few more months, as I have already said and these months should pass after I would finish my course. If the virus is gone months later after I finished the course then that’s a good one so since I have not finished even my course. I cannot say anything. However I can say something about the side effects and if there is somebody who is interested then I can tell you something about the side effects: I get some very bad rashes all over my body (everyday) weakness, tiredness, feeling exhausted as well as my hemoglobin is being very long (docs told it is below 10). But. I guess that I have to mention it one more time. these side effects mean nothing to me if the drug would cure the hepatitis c once and forever. I guess the reason why I am so careless about the side effects and I care so much about the cure is because I have already tried to cure Hepatitis C 2 times in my life (with Interferon) and since you can see me here – both of the times it has been unsuccessful. The first time it failure miserable as the drug never could bring my numbers to 0. The second time it did and I have been said that my VL is 0 (I remember I was extremely happy about that) but unfortunately, the Hep C has returned back. This explains pretty much why I am not so happy right now when I have been said that my VL is 0 again. I am going to be really that happy when after few months after finishing the course I would be told that my numbers are 0. I hope so much that I would see it. that Sovaldi is going to be the drug that’s going to help me. I hope so much! I have found out by reading online that so far, this combination is the best for curing Hep C and I really hope that it is true. I wish you all good luck and an effective treatment (and wish me good luck too as I feel that I’m going to need it).
